Publishing to the Vault

Publishing is the moment something in your Library stops being private. It is always a deliberate step, it is always reversible, and the app spells out what it means before you confirm.

Quick Notes

  • Everything in your Library starts as a draft.
  • Published work can be seen and downloaded by anyone browsing the Vault.
  • Unpublishing keeps the likes it already earned.

Everything starts as a draft

Everything starts as a draft

Anything you send to your Library arrives as a draft: yours, private, and invisible to the Vault. Nothing publishes itself, and nothing is published as a side effect of copying it.

Your Library shows which entries are drafts and which are published, so you can work on something for as long as you like before deciding.

Publish

Publish

Select what you want to share and publish it. The confirmation is explicit about the consequence: anyone browsing the Vault will be able to see and download these, and you can unpublish at any time.

Publishing works over a selection, so a batch is one decision rather than many.

Unpublish

Unpublish

Unpublishing sends work back to being drafts, visible only to you.

Likes it has already received are kept. If you publish it again later, its history comes back with it.

What publishing does not do

Publishing a group does not publish the entries inside it. The group becomes browsable as a collection; its members stay drafts unless you publish them too.

Publishing also never reaches back into the game a copy came from. The version in your game stays exactly as it was, and stays private.
